Global warming..Maybe it's okay?

Earth will always fix itself. If it overheats due global warming, and it will, it will break down the natural cycle of our oceans, otherwise know as thermohaline circulation. This will begin a natural cool down of the polar caps thus throwing us into another ice age. It won't happen over night but it will happen. Though I feel we should do what we can to switch from fossil fuels, I think that with all of the damage we have done already it would be like stopping a freight train with your bare hands. And hey, me being in North Texas, if the caps do melt I will be just that much closer to the beach!
