Lasik results not optimal, need advice?

I had Lasik surgery 5 months ago. My right eye was corrected for distance and my left eye for reading. Vision has stabilized with the following attributes: Vision good most of the time but by the end of the day, my eyes are a litle tired and distance vision is a bit blurry--in addition to this, there sometimes appears to be competiton between my eyes for focus (again only at the end of the day). Is this a common problem? What should I do--should I have the left eye re-corrected for distance? Lasik dr suggested gles but that would obvioulsy be a last resort that I would hope to avoid
