Is it just me, or are Desktop and Laptop computers, obsolete?

Well it depends on your choice, as we all know that technology is advancing too fast you get get the computer as small as a mobile phone with mostly al the functionality. But for now i do think computer that too a laptop is necessary as some application cannot run on other devices..
