Men; if the foot on, is it reasonable really reasonable to expect not to hear from you?

Met a guy at a bar, he asked for my number, Spent the day texting etc, couple of days later (which was yesterday) i sent a text. Were texting all day, he mentioned being sad as his friend left earlier that day after visiting (from across the globe) and was just watching football in the evening. Later on (as football started) he was less attentive and asking less questions etc. Didn't reply to my last text, although it didn't exactly ask him a specific question and it was starting to get late. Disinterested or just normal guy behavior?? Wondering because if he doesn't in the next couple of days i'm just gonna suggest meeting up for drinks or something.
