I am so horrified by the parenting on my street!?

ugh I hear u. Im in a really nice neighborhood and I have 9 month old. I see it all the time too. For some reason they decided to put a geared to income lowrise apartment building on a street of all $300,000 and up houses. Its retarded because its all of those peoples young children running the streets while they're working and have nobody to watch them after school. I see a 9 year old carrying around a baby here and the rest of the kids are between 3 and 7 too. I hear the older kids teaching the younger kids swear words... its terrible. Everytime they see an adult they try and seek attention because they dont get enough from their own parents. I'm guilty of being a bystander too. I have not called CAS (I'm canadian) on these parents either. I just refuse to allow my own son to participate in such behavior when he becomes that age... we're better parents than that. Just set your own boundaries and stick to it with your own family.
